Freedom of Spirit
"The Freedom Of Spirit Fund (“FOS Fund” or “the Fund”) focuses on identifying and supporting individuals, projects, and causes that embody Friedrich Wilhelm Joseph Schelling’s principle: “The time has come to proclaim to a nobler humanity, the freedom of the spirit, and no longer to have patience with men's tearful regrets for their lost chains.” Since its inception in 2019, the Fund has advanced its mission by allocating $1.3 million in award expenditures to foster innovative initiatives rooted in a vision of "Freedom of Spirit."
During the past three and half decades Jay Fishman and Rob Lehman have been nurturing the growth of the Fetzer Global Trust including the creation of the Freedom of Spirit Fund which has provided grants to institutions and individuals that embody the Freedom of Spirit. Some of these include:
